That’s what it means to allow good to be the robber of the best. We see this happen in every facet of our lives . . . at work, at home, in our finances, and even in our health. Have you ever been around someone and soon discovered that they are well-versed in the world of technology? In many cases, you can spot a "tech-guy" from a mile away. The Holy Spirit always has a purpose and the promise of the Holy Spirit was given so that purpose would be carried out.

Hosea 4 speaks about the tragic condition of the people of God in this time by saying, "my people are destroyed from a lack of knowledge." In some ways, the same is happening today in the church of Jesus Christ. We simply don't know what we ought and we are being destroyed. The expectations were high and the Israelite people thought they had their conquering king that would finally rise up and save them from their enemies. There is a God ordained and God initiated process through which Christians can experience a full and meaningful relationship with their Savior. For many of us, we grew up in a church culture which taught us that church was about us and that if people wanted to get God, they have to come to church to get Him. Where did we get that from?? What is greatness? Mother Teresa said once said, “Do you want to be great? Then pick up a broom and sweep the floor.” In other words, greatness can be defined in serving others. Jesus was our perfect example of how be great. Listen in as we take a close look at how Jesus defined greatness.
